CHRISTMASTIDE PROVIDES HOLIDAY CHEER

Trinity’s choral and instrumental music groups offered an engaging array of Christmas carols, classic worship hymns, and songs of praise that filled the Ozinga Chapel during Christmastide December 2.

The seasonal celebration brought holiday joy to more than 700 attendees with familiar songs such as “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing,” “The First Noel,” and “Silent Night.”  The audience heard music from the College’s wind, flute, and brass ensembles along with the concert, campus, honors, and gospel choirs.

Communication arts professor Dr. Craig Mattson, and students Rich Schuler ’08 from Tinley Park, Illinois, Dilaun White ’09 from Naperville, Illinois, and Sarah Davis ’10 from Lansing, Illinois, read Scriptures, poetry, and narratives between selections that highlighted the Christmas occasion.
