Photography Exhibit Highlights Work of Professor and Student

Dr. Dan Diephouse, professor of English emeritus, and senior James Kauzlaric of Joliet, Illinois, are currently exhibiting their photography at MD Gallery in Mokena, Illinois.

Diephouse’s exhibit, titled Textures of the Earth, will be on display through the end of the year, as will Kauzlaric’s work. The gallery, operated by Missio Dei Church, is located at 11041 Front St. in Mokena. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., but visitors are encouraged to call first.

MD Gallery manager Kristy Hendrix ’06 is a graduate of Trinity’s studio art program, and the pastor of Missio Dei Church is Trinity alumnus Paul Vroom ’92.
Diephouse and Kauzlaric are not the first representatives of Trinity to exhibit at MD Gallery. Last spring, Elyse Lamszus ’08 displayed selections of her art, and earlier this fall Abby Christensen ’11 of Nampa, Idaho, exhibited her paintings and drawings.
