News Release

Trinity students now have a new avenue through which to shape lives and transform culture. It is called Rotaract-a Rotary-sponsored service club involving students on campuses across the country. President Steven Timmermans is the faculty advisor to the 12 student Rotaract members on Trinity's campus.

"Helping people is our responsibility as Christians," said Ty DeWitte '07 of Hudsonville, Michigan, and one of the founding members of Trinity's Rotaract club. "This is a great opportunity to show God's love through service."

The College's Rotaract club is required to do both a local and an international service project. The group will conduct a book drive and help develop a library for the Mary P. Moody Academy in Robbins, Illinois. The students will also develop business partners for service projects in the African country of Malawi.
