TROLLS SOCCER BOOTS JUDSON'S CURSE -
MINTER NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Trinity's men's soccer team snapped a string of 23 consecutive losses to Judson College by blanking the visiting Eagles 1-0 Wednesday, Oct. 16, marking the first time the Trolls have defeated their conference foes ever. Midfielder Hassan Minter tallied the goal that lifted the Trolls' conference record to 3-3-2 while tagging Judson with its first conference loss in eight games.

"It was an exciting game and a huge win for us," head coach Jonathan Lenarz said. "They were ranked No. 20 in the nation. I've had a lot of alumni calling to congratulate us. It was a long time coming."

For his efforts, Minter, a junior from Ontario, California, earned accolades as the National Christian College Athletic Association's student-athlete of the week. The Trolls, winners of five of their last six games, close out the regular season Saturday against Mt. St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa, before heading into the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference playoffs.
