The building of Trinity's new Art and Communication Center is well under way! Check out the Web cam on our homepage and click here for a photo gallery of the progress in Taste of Trinity.

Students, faculty, staff, and visitors can sense the future impact this facility will have on campus life as they witness the pre-cast walls being set in place, clearly outlining the black box theater.

"We are eagerly anticipating the addition of this beautiful building to our campus," said Larryl Humme, vice president for development.

For art students, the ARCC will provide:

. gallery and space for teaching photography, painting, graphic design and print-making
. 200-seat "black box" theater
. scene shop
. costume shop
. green room
. makeup studio
. light/sound booth

For communication arts students, the ARCC will provide:

. state-of-the-art computer lab
. editing suites
. Web broadcasting studios
. broadcast booth

Approximately $7.5 million dollars has been received in cash, pledges, and interest payments. Additional funds need to be raised to cover the total $11.4 million cost of the facility.
