Under the theme "Living Lives of Courage," freshmen and transfer students arrived on Friday, August 23, for move-in, joining the athletes, residence assistants, and bridge students already on campus. Throughout the weekend, first year students participated in the "First Year Forum," designed to help them adjust academically and socially to college life. 

Classes began on the evening of Wednesday, August 28. The College community will then kick-off the year with convocation, held on Friday, August 30, at 10 a.m. in the Ozinga Chapel. Dr. Anthony Diekema will give the keynote address, "Unless A College..."
