News Release

The Trinity men's basketball team will receive some first-rate exposure this season when it plays Calvin College at the United Center in Chicago on Friday, December 15. The two teams will square off at 3:00 p.m. as a lead up to the Chicago Bulls home game against the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Trinity-Calvin game will also gain admission to the Bull-Bucks contest.

"We talked about putting this event together two years ago, but the dates did not work out," said Jeff Raymond, Trinity athletics director. "Coach Walker and coach Vande Streek of Calvin jumped on the opportunity for this season. It should be a great event for the students, fans, and supporters of both institutions."

Trinity Christian has a group of 350 tickets to sell for the event. Prices are set at $30 and $45. These prices are $10 off the normal price of Bulls tickets. You can get your tickets by calling the Trinity athletics department at 708.239.4779.

In between the Trinity game and the Bulls game, alumni and friends are invited to join Trinity staff for dinner at Moretti's Ristorante and Pizzeria (1645 W. Jackson , which is approximately 0.5 miles from the United Center so walking is possible). No RSVP is required. Individuals are responsible for their own food and beverage cost.
