Andrew Corp. and its employees committed a gift of $250,000 to the construction of the Art and Communication Center at Trinity Christian College. This marks the second time in four years that the telecommunications equipment manufacturer, based in Orland Park, Ill., has funded a new building on Trinity's campus.

"We are thankful that Andrew Corp. has invested in our efforts to enhance the education of our students and expand our outreach within the community," said Rick VanDyken, executive associate to the president for development. "They appreciate the importance of the art and communication arts programs to our campus and the surrounding communities."

Andrew's gift pushes Trinity beyond the halfway point of the $9 million needed to cover construction costs. The company also contributed to funding the Heritage Science Center, which was completed in 2002.
