Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration in Honor of the City's 50th Anniversary

A service of thanksgiving and celebration, marking the 50th anniversary of the City of Palos Heights, will be held in the Ozinga Chapel of Trinity Christian College at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. Palos Heights Mayor Bob Straz will open the program with words of welcome.

Featuring music, song, and film, the service will include performances from the Jubilee Choir, a combined choir from participating churches; the children's chime choir from Providence United Reformed Church; and the Moraine Valley Baptist Church youth band. The Norman and Hilda Ozinga 46-rank pipe organ will be a highlight of the musical portion of the program.

A video will be shown that has been produced for the occasion and features people of Palos Heights voicing their faith.
