Students can experience living and studying in Chicago while receiving college credit! The Chicago Trinity Adventure (CTA) program gives high school juniors (who will be 17 or older in August 2009) and seniors the opportunity.
The deadline to apply for the program is June 30 .
A limited number of special scholarships are available for high school juniors – contact Dr. Mike DeVries at 708.239.4755 or Jeremy Klyn at 708.239.4712 for more information.
As part of the four-week program held August 1-28, students earn three credits for completing the History 103 course. The program also gives them the chance to meet professors, make friends, and experience Chicago first hand by living in downtown Chicago for the full month. Last year’s participants enjoyed trips to Oak Street Beach, the Sears Tower, a White Sox game, and some favorite area restaurants, in addition to earning college credits.
“The worst part of the program was that we couldn’t stay longer,” said former CTA student Ashley Veurink ’12 of Platte, South Dakota.
