TRINITY PURSUES PARTNERSHIP IN SOUTH KOREA - 5/24/06

Students at Trinity Christian College may benefit from a new partnership being forged on the other side of the world. President Steven Timmermans returned to campus Friday, May 19, from a trip to Taeshin Christian University in Kyungsan City, South Korea.

Timmermans and Eun Ahn, professor of  finance and economics at Trinity, spent four days with Taeshin President Sung-Kuh Chung. Among other things, the three explored the possibility of student exchanges.

"Their gracious hospitality suggests that whatever partnership possibilities we pursue will be top-notch," Timmermans said.

Taeshin is one of four Christian colleges in South Korea affiliated with the HapDong (Presbyterian) denomination.
