Trinity Prepares for a Three-Week Road Trip
To help Trinity celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Alumni Office is sending a group of three adventurers across the country to meet with hundreds of alumni, friends, and future alumni.
This TrollNation crew will travel over 7,000 miles to 23 different cities in 20 days. They will be stopping to host fun events and to conduct interviews with alumni who would like to share their favorite memories of Trinity.
“This is an exciting opportunity to highlight the importance of our alumni and see how God has used them since their time here on campus,” said Travis Bandstra ‘06, director of alumni relations.
Crew members embarking on this journey will be Vice President for Development Larryl Humme, and alumni Jordan Huenink ’07 and Jeff Roon ’09.
“It’s going to be one crazy adventure after another, but it will be a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Roon.
Roon is also looking forward to meeting with some prospective students during the high school visits. “I think it’s great that we will be able to connect with students as they make final decisions about next year, and hopefully we can show them how awesome it is to be a Troll!”
