2nd Annual Psychology Alumni Conference Scheduled
Psychology majors, minors, and enthusiasts are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Trinity Christian College Psychology Alumni Conference on Saturday, April 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Heritage Science Center, Room 014.
Those in attendance will be favored with a special address from alumna Dr. Brenda Vander Mey ’78 titled “Service Learning: What it is, what it is not.”
Vander Mey will speak about service learning in both international and domestic contexts and about the challenges, such as keeping both the service and the learning tied to scholarship and establishing university-community collaborations. She will work with the audience in exploring courses offered at Trinity and their potential contributions to service learning.
