SINGING AND DANCING MARK GOSPEL FEST
Shouts of praise filled the Ozinga Chapel on
March 3 when the Trinity Gospel Choir and several area high school choirs performed during Gospel Fest.
The annual event sponsored by the Organization of African American Unity, brought choirs from Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Curie High School in Chicago, and Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois. The Trinity Gospel Choir, under director Jim Palmore, performed with several alumni singers and the Sisters of Unity praise team celebrated before the Lord with dance.
“Everyone was well received,” Palmore said. “The Lord blessed us who ministered and sang. Everybody had a good time.”
