STRONG TAKES THE LEAD
AT RACOM - 03/03/06
Back to God Hour, the electronic media ministry of the Christian Reformed
Church, announced Jack Strong '84 as the new director of RACOM Associates,
the development ministry serving the needs of Back to God Hour, on Monday,
"I started (working) in development
when I was a student at Trinity," Strong said. "I never forgot that (experience).
Trinity had a great influence on me being open to the work God has me doing
now for His kingdom."
Strong served as vice president
of advancement for Elim Christian Services in Palos Heights, Illinois,
before joining the Back to God Hour in 2002 as the director of advancement.
"We are very excited about
having Jack come on board as the new director," said Bob Heerspink, Back
to God Hour director. "Jack brings a history of development work to the
position and a vision of what the work of advancement can do for the Back
to God Hour in the future. He brings energy and integrity to his work and
a deep Christian commitment, along with a Reformed vision for kingdom work."
Strong graduated from the
College with a degree in history and industrial arts education. He earned
a master's degree in philanthropy and development from Saint Mary's University
in Minnesota. Before entering the development field full-time, Strong taught
and coached at Central Wisconsin Christian High School in Waupun, Wisconsin.
