A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR:

"David said about him: "I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will live in hope, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay."
Acts 2:25-27 (NIV)

Annually around this time as a new year begins, I sense a feeling of hope all around us. There is something about turning over the page of a new year that inspires people to dream and hope for a better life or a better world. However, there are also times when I wonder if this hope is just manufactured by the media; that maybe they are simply re-running the same stories they did last year and that no real person actually formulates a new year’s resolution at all. As we sit on the cusp of 2009, it is my wish that you will be filled with hope; that, in spite of the turmoil around us, we can be hopeful for what is to come and for what God will do through us in this coming year.

Blessings to you in the New Year!
