Alumni, friends and family are invited to a free night of film, photos, food and fellowship with the Luke Society and Cultivate Studios on Thursday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel. This is the first public screening of their documentary Progress in Pitesti; The Story of the Dr. Luca Medical Center. Come and enjoy a sampling of Romanian cuisine, a photography exhibition by Mark Wierda '03 and a question and answer session with the filmmakers, Wierda, Bret Hoekema '02, and Chris Pierik '01, and Luke Society Partnership Ministry Team Members for Romania, Ken Hekman and Marty Ozinga III. Mark your calendar and plan to come to the first "Trinity Night" at the Chicago Fire game on Wednesday, August 16. Our evening will kick off with a tailgate party at 6 p.m. in the parking lot, before watching the Fire take on the Kansas City Wizards at 8 p.m. at Toyota Park. Cost is $15 for adults and $12 for children 11 years or younger; this includes a ticket for the game and all the food you can eat at the tailgate. It's time for the Trinity Christian College fall alumni weekend! A record 450 new faces graced Trinity's campus for the annual Blueprints weekend on July 7-8. Incoming freshmen, transfer students, and their family members experienced the academic, social, and spiritual dimensions of Trinity for the first time together. A new women's ring has been added to the collection of Trinity Christian College rings! It's called the Espri and has a slim band, with three small blue stones representing the Trinity. To celebrate, the bookstore is offering a special sale on this ring as well as our traditional custom ring throughout the month of July. Have you ever thought about going to the Brazilian rain forest? Now is the time to make arrangements to join Trinity on this experience of a lifetime. Alumni and friends are invited to spend 12 days with Trinity students during this Interim trip, January 9-20, 2007, in spots like Rio de Janeiro, Iguaçu Falls, and the beaches of Uruguay. Conference and Events Coordinator

Trinity Christian College is seeking an interim Conference and Events Coordinator beginning August 2006. The responsibilities for this exciting position include, but are not limited to: working with a wide variety of constituent groups to assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating events held on campus (such as concerts, athletic events, and cultural productions); working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to identify and contact groups and individuals who may be interested in using the College's chapel and other campus facilities; actively seeking opportunities to build positive relationships and promote the use of campus facilities among civic, corporate, and Christian organizations. There will be a significant amount of interaction with the College's students, faculty, and staff members during the interim period, which includes the beginning of the fall semester. After the interim period of three months, this position may become a permanent, full-time position in the Marketing and Communications Department. A bachelor's degree is required and event planning/coordination experience is helpful. A sincere allegiance to the mission of the College and a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ is required.


Office Assistant - First Year Experience

Trinity Christian College is seeking to fill a one-year position as office assistant for the First Year Experience (FYE). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: staff the FYE office approximately 20 hrs/week during the academic year, assist the director and coordinator with planning events such as Blueprints, Orientation, and Visit Days, provide clerical support in developing materials for FYE programs and for OPUS, organize and schedule FYE events, maintain student data bases, respond to information requests from students, parents and staff, coordinate work of student workers and mentors, and maintain a web site and other resources for parents. Ability to use computer application programs, organization skills, and a friendly, helpful attitude are required. Additional qualifications include a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college and a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.  


Web Manager
Trinity Christian College
is seeking a full-time web manager to develop, organize, and maintain the College web site. Candidates should have knowledge of building multimedia enhanced and dynamic web sites. A bachelor's degree is required along with experience in web design, web programming and development, and knowledge of information systems. Additional qualifications include a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college; personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ; excellent communication and organizational skills.
