Plan to bring your family and friends to Miller Park on Friday, July 7, for this annual event. We'll warm up with a pre-game tailgate party at 4:30 p.m., give away some great prizes, and root for our favorite team during the 7:05 p.m. game. Everyone is invited; ceremonies begin at 9 a.m. Among other things, the Art and Communication Center will include a "black box" theatre; a flexible space that will be used for student drama productions and for teaching television production. Contact Joanne Gritters at with any questions about the groundbreaking ceremonies.

Mark your calendar and plan to come to the first "Trinity Night" at the Chicago Fire game on Wednesday, August 16. Our evening will kick off with a tailgate party at 6 p.m. in the parking lot, before watching the Fire take on the Kansas City Wizards at 8 p.m. at Toyota Park. Cost is $15 for adults and $12 for children 11 years or younger; this includes a ticket for the game and all the food you can eat at the tailgate. We have a limited number of tickets so RSVP to or call Kelly at 708.239.4854 by Friday, August 4 to hold your spot.

A new women's ring has been added to the collection of Trinity Christian College rings! It's called the Espri and has a slim band, with three small blue stones representing the Trinity. To celebrate, the bookstore is offering a special sale on this ring as well as our traditional custom ring throughout the month of July. If you've always wanted a college ring, now is the time to buy! Prices will never be this low again! To see a picture of the new ring and for more information, see our Web site at or call the bookstore at (708)239-4702.
