SUMMER AT THE BOOTSMA BOOKSTORE CAFE
June 9-13--Come to the Bootsma Bookstore Cafe at 6513 W. 123rd St. (east side of campus of Trinity Christian College, Palos Heights, Illinois) to enjoy a Chicago-style hotdog and some great Father's Day giveaways, like two tickets to the Cubs game for June 25! Theme days for the week's activities include: Car Care Monday, Outdoors Tuesday, Tool Time Wednesday, Golf Thursday, and Baseball Friday.

June 18--Story Hour: Expand your child's imagination through story and craft time from 10-11 a.m. For children ages 4-7.

TRINITY NIGHT IN MILLENNIUM PARK
All alumni and friends are invited to join Trinity at Millennium Park in Chicago on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. for a free evening of classical music at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion. The Grant Park Orchestra will perform works by Mozart, Wagner, and others. Trinity will have a table in the southwest corner of the Pavilion area; come and visit the table for your free Trinity water bottle. FANTASY AUTHOR VISITS CAMPUS
Fantasy author L. B. Graham, M.Div., signed copies of the books from his series, The Binding of the Blade, at the Bootsma Bookstore Cafe on May 20. Prior to the signing, Graham gave a brief talk about the writing life and answered questions from fans of fantasy and good storytelling. He credits a "reading mother" with being one of his early influences along with Greek mythology and authors C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. TRINITY BUSINESS NETWORK WELCOMES RICH DEVOS
Rich DeVos, co-founder and former president of Amway, was the guest speaker at a special Trinity Business Network event on May 22. Marissa De Haan, junior English student, is compiling a literary arts journal for Trinity and she would like to open a portion to alumni submissions. REQUESTING YOUR STORIES--CELEBRATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Dr. Dan Diephouse is editing a book to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Trinity's founding in 1959. He would like to include some personal stories from alumni from various years recounting memories of their time on campus. Here are some topics to prompt your memories: stories about special classes, student pranks, the Troll, interim experiences, the philosophy wars, experiences with students or with professors, concerts, lectures, fund raisers, athletic events, OPUS, Fine Arts Festivals, chapels, drama, dorm life, apartment life, overseas programs, Chicago experiences, Palos Heights experiences, Trinity building experiences, times before Trinity computers and even telephones were available to every student and every faculty member. ALUMNI: DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI RELATIONS
Trinity Christian College is seeking a full-time director of alumni relations. The successful candidate must have extensive event planning and event implementation skills, experience in strategic planning and goal setting, must be able to establish and maintain contact with alumni through AFT (Alumni and Friends of Trinity) chapter work, affinity groups and class reunions, and must have experience in recruiting and training volunteers to serve on boards. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate a high level of organizational skills and experience in writing for newsletters and other publications. Trinity Christian College seeks candidates that have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, and a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college. A bachelor's degree is preferred and preference will be given to alumni of Trinity Christian College.

ADMISSIONS: ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR
Trinity Christian College has an immediate opening for a full-time admissions counselor to participate in all aspects of the student recruitment process. Responsibilities include effective communication of the mission of the college to diverse populations of prospective students, parents, counselors, pastors, and others. Requires travel off campus to schools, college fairs, churches, and other organizations. Candidates must possess the ability to work closely with the financial aid office to convey accurate and timely information and counseling concerning all aspects of the financial aid process. Trinity Christian College seeks candidates that have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, and a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college. Previous experience is not necessary; however, a bachelor's degree from a four year college or university is required.

SPORTS NEWS
ZIELKE GIVES HER BEST AT NAIA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Erin Zielke ran her best performance of the season in 1500 meter at the NAIA National Track and Field Championships held in Edwardsville, Illinois on May 22-24. Zielke, the lone national qualify for Trinity, finished with ninth place with a time of 4:40.57, a three second improvement over her previous school record time.
