STUDENTS TO PERFORM IN "YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH
Trinity Christian College presents the spring play
"You Can't Take it With You" by Moss Hart and George S.
Kaufman on April 19-21 and 25-28. The play centers around the
eccentric and likable members of the Martin Vanderhof family.
All performances are at 7:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room.

WHEELCHAIR DANCE DUET MOTIVATES AND
The wheelchair dance duet, Light Motion, will
perform on Friday, April 27, at 8 p.m. in the Ozinga Chapel of
Trinity Christian College. The Alexander De Jong Center for
Special Education is sponsoring the performance as part of its
annual Reaching Beyond Potential Celebration dinner. The
two-woman dance company uses the wheelchair as an expression
of movement rather than just a vehicle of mobility. Tickets

REGISTER FOR THE TROLL TROT
Students, alumni and friends are invited to sign up for
the Troll Trot 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 21 at 9:30 a.m.
The race will begin from the parking lot of Alumni Hall and
the course continues through the Navajo Hills community.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.; entry fee is $15 (which
includes a t-shirt if registered before April 12). Contact

CHICAGO WOMEN'S CONFERENCE COMES TO CAMPUS
Christian College is pleased to co-sponsor the Chicago Women's
Conference on Saturday, May 5, in the Ozinga Chapel. Kathy
Troccoli, Dove award-winning vocalist, speaker, and writer,
and Dee Brestin, award-winning speaker and writer, are
co-authors of the Bible study trilogy, "Falling in Love with

ALUMNUS BRIAN VANDERVEEN SENDS THANKS
In October 2006, the
family of Brian VanderVeen '03 requested the prayers of the
Trinity community after Brian, a construction worker working
on the Dan Ryan expressway in Chicago, was critically injured
when he was hit by a car. Brian is now recovering at a
rehabilitation hospital in Omaha, Nebraska and while he still
has surgery and more healing ahead, his parents wanted to
express their thankfulness for the support and prayers of the
Trinity community during these past months. Those who wish to

TRACK AND FIELD TEAM HOSTS FIRST HOME MEET
Trinity track and field program hosted the first home meet in
school history on Wednesday, March 28. The 2007 Troll Relays
featured athletes from six different schools, plus a few

The baseball team played in seven games in
Florida during their spring break week, March 19-24. They came
home with a 3-4 overall record with two wins (7-0, 6-4) at
Florida College and a split decision (13-7, 4-5) against
Northwood University. Their other losses were at Southeastern
University (6-13, 5-6) and at Webber International University
(2-6). The team is now 5-12 for the season.
ENDS TRIP WITH WIN
During the week of spring break, March
19-24, the softball team competed in seven games in the Tucson
Invitational (AZ). Although the Trolls played well all week,
they did not get a win until their final game when they
defeated Eastern Connecticut State University 3-2 in 8
innings. The team was 1-6 for the week and is 1-10 for the
