GRAMMY-NOMINATED PILLAR KICKS OFF TOUR AT TRINITY
The Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Pillar will be kicking off its "For the Love of the Game" Tour on Friday, February 22, 7:30 p.m., in the Ozinga Chapel at Trinity Christian College, the first stop on the band's spring tour. Joining the tour is Dove Award nominee Building 429, Wavorly, and Chicagoland native Brooke Barrettsmith. FOUNDERS' SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET
Thirty-six of the brightest and best high school students were finalists for this year's Founders' Scholarship. TROLL MAKES ESPN'S TOP 10 TEAM NICKNAMES
The Troll, Trinity's frightening yet friendly mascot, has made ESPN's top 10 "best team nicknames" list. His usual grimace came close to looking like a smile at the honor of being part of an illustrious group that includes such legends as the Banana Slugs (University of California-Santa Cruz) and the Cobbers (Concordia University, Moorhead, MN). DIVERSITY LECTURE REFLECTS ON RACE AND RECONCILIATION
What is the relevance of reconciliation? Where does the Evangelical church stand today on the issue of race? These were some of the questions posed during Trinity's Diversity Lecture Series by guest speaker Glen Kehrein, executive director of Circle Urban Ministries. COLLEGE HOLDS FIRST DANIEL DIEPHOUSE GRADUATE STUDENT CONFERENCE
Trinity recently held the first Daniel Diephouse Graduate Student Conference, honoring Dr. Diephouse's 36 years of outstanding service as a professor of English. The three-day conference gave current Trinity students the chance to ask questions of alumni in graduate school and provided a time for discussion about the transition from the student world to the working world. HALF-TIME FACULTY POSITION IN ADULT STUDIES
Trinity Christian College is accepting applications for a half-time faculty position in the Adult Studies education department at the Palos Heights and Addison College of DuPage campuses. The candidate must possess five years of K-12 experience and a master's degree; Ph.D. preferred. Reading specialization and/or ESL/Bilingual endorsement or certification strengthens the application. Responsibilities include teaching courses in area of expertise and other general courses in the Adult Studies education curriculum; advising students, and participating in department meetings. ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES HONORED
The second annual Trinity Athletics Hall of Fame induction took place on February 2, in the midst of Trinity's Homecoming festivities. TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES VOLUNTEER AT SHARE YOUR SOLES
Looking for a way to offer a small gesture of kindness, members of Trinity's track and field team connected with Share Your Soles, a local organization that is a perfect example of how a little compassion can go a long way.

MEN'S BASKETBALL GRABS CCAC VICTORY
For the second time this week the Trolls grabbed an exciting close-game victory on February 9. A 60-59 win at Trinity International University (IL) puts the team (15-10) in a first place tie in the conference standings with a 7-2 CCAC record.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL DEFEATED BY TRINITY INTERNATIONAL
The Trolls did not get the job done at Trinity International University on Saturday and lost another conference game. After trailing by five points at half-time they took a 54-66 loss. They are now 9-17 overall and 2-6 in the CCAC.
