’97—LEADING WORSHIP THROUGH MUSIC
As director of arts at Crossroads
in Schererville, Indiana, Jeff Otto ’97 gives Trinity
full credit for opening the door to his career path. Though he had no
worship-leading experience before his first year at the College, he now plans
and arranges all the vocal and instrumental music for worship at his church.

CONFERENCE AND EVENTS COORDINATOR OPENING
College is seeking a full-time conference and
events coordinator. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player
with demonstrated ability in planning, organizing, and implementing events.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed to interact
successfully with people inside and outside the College, including the general
public and representatives of
external groups. The ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and
determine logistics associated with event coordination are key components of
the candidate’s skill set; computer proficiency
is essential. Negotiating skills and an understanding of budgeting are desired.
Commitment to the College mission is expected.

Men’s Basketball Splits Results at Ashland Tourney
The men’s basketball team spent part of their semester break in Ohio at the Ashland
University AmeriHost Classic. Last week Wednesday, the Trolls took on two NCAA
Division II teams in the tournament as they played Ashland in the first round and Lincoln
Memorial University (TN) in the consolation game. The Trolls came up short
losing 82-55, but were victorious against Lincoln Memorial, winning 58-55. The
Trolls will now take their 5-11 record into the conference schedule.
